Iowa woman pleads guilty to meth possession in Marquette

An Iowa woman arrested on a number of charges after a rollover accident has pleaded guilty to one of those charges in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Jessica Jamison, 33, of Winterset, Iowa has admitted to possession of meth or ecstasy. The Michigan State Police arrested her in late March after she received treatment for injuries she sustained in a car crash in Michigamme Township.

Jamison was also accused of operating while intoxicated, second offense; firearm possession during commission of a crime and possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Prosecutors dismissed those charges in exchange for her guilty plea.

Her sentencing is scheduled for August 1st.
