Investigation of Possible Bomb Continues
The investigation continues into a suspicious device found in Houghton County several months ago.
A worker from Superior Service of Houghton found a suspicious device on August 23rd while pumping a portable toilet.
The unit was at Green Park in Carp Lake Township near Silver City.
Police said at the time that it appeared to be a bomb, and they now say the device has been disposed of.
Pieces of it have been sent to the Michigan State Police crime lab for analysis.
So far, no prints have been found.
