Howl-O-Scream in L’Anse
It’s opening weekend for the Howl-O-Scream Haunted House located at the Whirl-I-Gig Bowling Alley in L’Anse.
Leave the small children with a sitter for this one because this haunted house is very scary. Event Organizer Polly Schaeffer says this event is not for the faint of heart.
Admission is five dollars. Proceeds go to benefit the Youth of Baraga County. Polly says the goal is to have a youth center like the one she remembers as a kid: with trusted, older adults in charge who were caring and considerate as they provided a safe after-school place for kids to hang out.
The Howl-O-Scream Haunted House is open from 7 till 11pm Friday and Saturday, October 21-22, and again on October 27-28.
