Houghton County Man Faces CSC Charges
A Toivola man charged with sexually assaulting his two nieces was in court today.
48–year–old Gregory Kratt appeared in 97th District Court today for a preliminary hearing.
The two teenage girls testified that the assault took place September 2nd at Kratt’s residence.
The girls were then 15 and 17 years old.
Kratt reportedly took the girls for a ride on a golf cart one at a time.
The younger of the two testified in court Monday that Kratt touched her legs and played with holes in her jeans and touched her inappropriately.
Her 17–year–old sister accused Kratt of touching her thigh.
Kratt is charged with one count of 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct with a relationship, which is a 15–year felony, as well as one count of 4th-degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
An arraignment in Houghton County Circuit Court is scheduled for December 5th.
