Home invasion & armed robbery arrests

The two suspects from last week’s home invasion and robbery in Alger County have been arrested downstate.

Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say they are a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from Bay City.

Their names won’t be available until after they’re arraigned.

The State Police Fugitive Team arrested the pair in Bay City Tuesday evening.

The man is charged with first-degree home invasion, assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, unlawful imprisonment and armed robbery.

He’s being held in the Alger County Jail.

The woman is charged with first-degree home invasion and armed robbery.

She’s in custody in Bay City and is expected to be brought to Alger County today.

The two are accused of attacking and robbing 19-year-old Allen Miron at a home on County Road 440 in Au Train Township on March 12th.
