Holocaust Memorial Service

Holocaust Remembrance Day occurs on the 27th of the Jewish Month – which was April 18th and 19th this year.

In honor of the holiday, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church held a Holocaust Memorial Service tonight. Participants from multiple faiths were in attendance. The Traditional Muslim Memorial Prayer and The Traditional Hebrew Memorial Chant were among a few ceremonies given tonight. The guest speaker talked with those in attendance about his recollections of a child who saw what happened during the Holocaust.

The three recipients of the Cohodas Scholarship Awards – relating to the Holocaust – were also honored at tonight’s memorial service.
