MARQUETTE — Christmas is only days away, and one local organization took some time to reflect on older holiday traditions.
The Marquette Regional History center was celebrating Christmas in the 30’s Wednesday evening. The museum pulled out artifacts and decorations from the era and invited the community out for a trip down memory lane.
Along with the cool items on display, patrons could also make some holiday themed crafts, including a paper ornament. And if that weren’t enough, Christmas music from the 30’s was played throughout the event.
