ESCANABA — An Escanaba woman arrested during an Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team drug bust in September has been sentenced.
Twenty-five-year old Courtney Kang was given six months in jail with credit for seventeen days served. Kang was arrested on a felony warrant for delivery of heroin, a charge to which she pleaded guilty in Delta County Circuit Court in October. As part of her plea agreement, a charge of delivery or manufacture of the drug alprazolam was dropped.
Three others were arrested during that same UPSET investigation.
