Heroin Bust in Menominee

Four suspects in Menominee have been arrested on heroin charges.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and the Menominee City Police made the arrests on Tuesday.

One suspect was arrested after a foot chase into a secondary residence.

The other three suspects were arrested after authorities conducting surveillance on another target house saw two people complete a drug transaction out of a pickup truck in an alley.

As the detectives approached, the truck backed up and crashed into an undercover car.

The suspects threw pills from the vehicle and were stopped by the Menominee Police.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested for felonious assault, driving with a suspended license and violating probation.

The passenger, a pregnant woman, was taken to a hospital.

UPSET conducted a joint search warrant on a residence in the city of Menominee with the Marinette City and Menominee County drug team.

A male and female were arrested for heroin delivery, maintaining a drug house and possession of marijuana.
