Harley–Davidson is running a gift program for soldiers deployed overseas.
The company is calling it ‘Honor the Brave’.
Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson of Marquette is taking part, and since it started on November 1st, customers have noticed.
Bald Eagle Harley parts manager David Zambon says they’ve already received donations from some cutomers and will continue to take them through the end of this month, which is Military Appreciation Month for Harley nationally.
The USO says a $25 donation is enough to cover the cost of one care package.
Each one usually includes basic toiletries, which are often difficult to obtain on foreign deployments.
The care packages also include snacks, a prepaid phone card, reading materials and two free tickets to the Harley–Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
