Hancock Man Convicted of Child Abuse

It takes a jury in Houghton less than an hour this morning to convict a Hancock man of child abuse.

They found 35-year-old Mark Krock guilty of a 1st-degree charge.

Sentencing will be in the next few weeks.

He could face up to 15 years in prison.

Krock had been accused of injuring his young son several times earlier this year.

Earlier this week, he testified that he was alone with his son — and blacked-out drunk — on all 4 of those occasions.
