H.S. Football Preview: Gwinn Modeltowners
After 4 games last year, the Gwinn Modeltowners varsity football team forfeited its final five games, because the team did not have enough players to suit up on Friday nights.
But that was last year. This time around, the Modeltowners have over 20 players on the varsity roster.
Gwinn also has a new head coach- Darren Sinneave takes over for Bill Harrison. Sinnaeve said today that his team may be young, but don’t count them out.
One thing that Gwinn does have going for them is their team speed. The Modeltowners have all kinds of options offensively, especially at tailback and at wide receiver. For their offense the sky’s the limit.
