H.S. Football Preview: Calumet Copper Kings

Every year since 2005, the Calumet Copper Kings football team has been a consistent threat to win the West Pac Conference. The Copper Kings have also made the playoffs every year since then.

Head coach John Croze has a mix of young and experienced players on this years team. If Calumets is going to make it seven straight playoff appearances, look for the guys in the backfield to move those chains.

In addition to having a tough conference schedule, Calumet also plays non-conference foes Negaunee and Ishpeming. The Copper Kings do not have an easy schedule to say the least.

Calumet opens up with a conference game at home against Eagle River Northland Pines (WI) this Friday night.
