Gwinn man found guilty of drug charges receives sentence

ONTONAGON — A Gwinn man found guilty of drug charges received his sentence today.

Steven Paul Thompson, 31, was sentenced to two and a half to seven years in prison with credit for six months served.

He had a jury trial in May in Ontonagon County Circuit Court. Thompson was found guilty of delivery or manufacture of bath–salts, which is a seven year felony. He also had habitual offender, fourth offense status attached to his case.
