Guilty pleas for two breaking and entering suspects, third suspect pleads not guilty

IRON MOUNTAIN — Two of the three Dickinson County men accused of stealing items from a garage have pleaded guilty.

Iron Mountain residents Tyler McLean, 20, and Mathew Lanthier, 20, admitted to one felony count of breaking and entering a building with intent in Dickinson County Circuit Court.  A second charge of malicious destruction of a building between $200 and $1,000 was dropped in exchange for their guilty pleas.

Their co-defendant, Joshua Williams, 30, of Kingsford pleaded not guilty to both charges.

The trio was arrested in July after breaking into a garage on W. D Street in Iron Mountain.

Williams will appear in court for a pretrial September 22; McLean and Lanthier will be sentenced October 7.
