Two of the three Menominee men facing federal drug charges in Michigan and Wisconsin have pleaded guilty instead of going to trial.

Michael Peak, 40, and Eric Ebbole, 42, admitted to use of a communication facility to distribute a controlled substance.

A two-day trial was scheduled for later this month.

They will both be sentenced in U.S. District Court in Green Bay in May.

Donald Myers, 41, is facing the same communication facility charge.  He has a pretrial set for April, and a trial scheduled in May.

The U.S. Attorney’s office accused the men, along with six other co-defendants, of distributing and conspiracy to distribute, fund, and sell heroin in Menominee and northeast Wisconsin.
