Guilty plea for man facing cocaine charges

A man involved in a Delta County drug case has pleaded guilty.

Michael Inman, 60, of Rapid River is the man on the left in the photo seen here. He admitted to delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of cocaine in Delta County Circuit Court Thursday. That charge carries a penalty of up to four years in jail and or a $25,000 fine. A second count was dropped.

His co-defendant, Thomas Avery, 62, is the man on the right as seen here. Avery is scheduled to appear in Delta County Circuit Court in September for a Cobbs evaluation.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested the pair in June after a three-month investigation.
