Guilty plea entered in drug case

ESCANABA — Another of the fourteen people arrested after an UPSET drug bust in Delta County has entered into a plea agreement.

22-year-old Shanna Martin of Escanaba pleaded guilty to the delivery or manufacture of a schedule four drug in Delta County Circuit Court. As part of the agreement, two additional counts of delivery or manufacture of a schedule one, two, or three drug will be dismissed.

Martin was arrested along with thirteen others on March 25th by UPSET detectives after multiple investigations into the sale and distribution of the drug buprenorphine. She will be sentenced June 22nd.
