Not guilty plea in embezzlement case
An Escanaba man pled not guilty by mail to an embezzlement charge.
Timothy Bray, 28, is facing one count of financial transaction device–stealing/retaining without consent.
Police say Bray’s employer reported that the business had incurred financial losses, and an investigation revealed Bray allegedly was making unauthorized purchases on the business credit card accounts.
Bray was arrested after a traffic stop in Delta County and was transported to the Marquette County Jail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for February 13.
