Fund Raising efforts continue to re-open the “W” in Gwinn
Community Hand-Up is continuing the challenge to area residents to help in online efforts at fund-raising to re-open the “W.”
The group is a registered participant in two online contests in which the prize is thousands of dollars in grant funding.
The group is at #12, with 260,000 votes, in the Reader’s Digest “We Hear You America” contest. (WeHearYouAmerica.com) And, recently, the “W” has been added to the list of community projects seeking funding through the Pepsi Refresh Grant Program. (RefreshEverything.com)
