Fresh Snow Not Letting Up

The cold temperatures and heavy snowfall will be with us through the rest of the week.

That’s thanks to a high-pressure system which moved in from the East Coast the last few days.

National Weather Service forecaster Jonathan Titus says the lake effect snow has offset the later-than-usual start of winter that we had and has helped the area catch up to normal snow totals for this point in the season.

The NWS has a lake effect snow advisory in effect until 1am Eastern time tomorrow.

But with more white stuff later this week, he recommends extra precaution if you have to get behind the wheel.

Titus says we can expect a strong high-pressure system to move in from the west on Thursday, bringing cold temps and snow through the end of the work week.
