Free Pictured Rocks cruises Saturday
From one-of-a-kind scenic views and magnificent beaches to being surrounded by two great lakes, living in Upper Michigan certainly has its advantages.
Upper Peninsula residents can take advantage of another perk this weekend in Alger County.
In Munising on Saturday, U.P. residents can take a Pictured Rocks boat cruise for free!
It’s all part of the Pictured Rocks Day celebration.
The party starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Bayshore Park Pavilion and lasts all day.
There will be a number of different events, including live music, kayaking and standup paddleboard demonstrations.
The first free cruise leaves port at 10 a.m. and will run throughout the day.
