Both armed robbery suspects now in custody

 

UPDATE:  1:45 p.m.: The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Matthew Fuller was arrested today in Marinette County, Wisconsin without incident.

He and Dakota Fuller of Gwinn, also 20 years old, were suspects in the armed robbery November 18 of Fran’s Service Station in Palmer.

Authorities in Marquette, Dickinson and Marinette County are continuing a joint investigation into the robbery and other crimes.

UPDATE 9:48 a.m.: The Marquette County Sheriff’s office arrested 20-year-old Dakota Fuller last night with out incident.  An anonymous tip led to his capture.

Fuller is one of two suspects who was wanted in connection to the armed robbery of Fran’s Service Station in Palmer.

The search continues for 20-year-old Matthew Fuller who is the other suspect in connection with the case.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspects in an armed robbery last month.  Fran’s Service Station in Palmer was robbed on November 18th and the owner was held at gunpoint.

The Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Dakota J. Fuller of Gwinn and 20-year-old Matthew Fuller of Marinette County, Wisconsin are the prime suspects in that crime.  The Fullers also have arrest warrants issued from Dickinson County,Michigan and Marinette County,

The two suspects, who escaped into the woods near Fran’s Service Station, may be connected to other crimes.

Marquette County officials have been working the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County, Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office, on possible connections to crimes or evidence in these counties.

Marinette County is investigating the theft of a blue and silver 1999 Chevy Silverado pickup reported stolen on November 16.  At the time of the theft, the truck had a red topper over the bed of the truck and there was a handgun in the vehicle.

On morning of November 19th, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s office recovered the stolen truck, but the topper and the handgun were missing.

About the same time on November 19th, a vehicle reported stolen from Felch, in Dickinson County, was recovered in Marinette County, Wisconsin.  Both stolen vehicles were processed for evidence in Dickinson County with assistance  from Marquette and Marinette County deputies.

The truck has been linked to the robbery in Palmer.  In that incident, the owner of Fran’s Service Station was coming home to his residence above the store when he came across the two male suspects exiting a basement window in the rear of the building.  The men had stolen merchandise from the business. Police say the two men briefly held the owner at gunpoint.  The owner of the store was not hurt.
