Foster to chair House Commerce Committee
State Rep. Frank Foster of Petoskey has been appointed to head the House Commerce Committee for the 2013-2014 legislative term.
“I am very proud to be chairing the House Commerce Committee for the upcoming session,” said Foster, who last session chaired the House Natural Resources, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation Committee.
“Michigan’s comeback has always been a top priority for me, and this position gives me a unique opportunity to continue my work toward job creation, economic development, and the natural competitiveness of this great state.”
Foster is also a member of the House committees for Health Policy, Michigan Competitiveness, and Tax Policy this session.
