Five-Star Business Climate in Marquette
The city of Marquette is recognized for having a positive business climate.
A University of Michigan-Dearborn program ranks Marquette as a Five–Star Business Community.
This is the second year in a row Marquette has received that designation, and it’s the only U.P. community to receive it.
28 downstate communities were also recognized as Five-Star Communities.
The award is intended to encourage communities to keep working on job growth, economic diversification and development of entrepreneurs.
