First Case Closed in Marquette with Nixle Service
New technology is to credit for a closed case in Marquette.
The Marquette City Police says they now have their first case that was solved by using Nixle.
Yesterday, the department sent out a Nixle message about a stolen vehicle.
Shortly after that, someone called in with the location of the vehicle.
Nixle is a free service available to Marquette residents.
By signing up, residents can receive timely information regarding crime, traffic problems, weather and other issues.
