Finlandia Hockey Teams Giving Away Free Tickets

The Finlandia Lion Men\’s and Women\’s hockey teams will be giving away FREE tickets at the Houghton County Fair this weekend to their 2010-2011 home openers. The men play an exhibition series against the Elliot Lake Bobcats of the Greater Metro Hockey League and the women play NCAA DIII foe Concordia-Moorhead.

The men\’s games will be played at 7:00pm on Saturday, October 16th and
2:00pm on Sunday, October 17th at the Houghton County Arena. The women play on Saturday, October 30th at 7:00pm and Sunday, October 31st at 2:00pm.

One ticket voucher will get fans into all four games FREE of charge.

Fans can pick up their FREE ticket voucher from the Finlandia University
booth at the fair. Current student-athletes from both the Men\’s and Women\’s hockey teams will be greeting the community and holding a puck shooting gallery for children.
