FBI: Range Bank Robbery Suspect Confessed

The FBI says the Kingsford bank robbery suspect arrested yesterday has confessed.

They say 45-year-old Kimberly Timbrook-Miller of Iron River confessed to the robbery during questioning.

She was arrested yesterday afternoon at her sister’s house in Kingsford.

The FBI says her sister, who wasn’t involved in the robbery, made a 911 call.

Timbrook-Miller is accused of robbing the Range Bank in Kingsford Wednesday afternoon.

The FBI claims she used a plastic toy gun to steal more than $50,000.

She’s said to have paid several months’ rent with some of the money.

The Marquette U.S. Attorney’s Office will be prosecuting.

They say Timbrook-Miller had an arraignment in U.S. District Court in Marquette this morning.

But they were unable to release any more information than that.
