Fatal Weekend Snowmobile Crash & Car Crash

Speed and drug use may have been involved in a fatal snowmobile accident in Alger County over the weekend.

It happened in Au Train at about 5:30 Saturday night.

State Police from the Munising Post say 39–year–old Donald Revolinski of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin was riding on Trail 7 when he hit a tree.

He died at the scene, and the accident is still under investigation.

Also, a three-vehicle chain reaction accident in Luce County that same night killed a Newberry woman and injured several others.

State Police from the Newberry Post say it happened shortly before 9pm near Pentland Township.

The accident happened when 18–year old Zachary Foor of Dafter drove right through a stop sign.

His car hit the side of a pickup truck going through the M–123/County Road 428 intersection.

The impact forced the pickup into oncoming traffic, and it hit a minivan driven by 73–year old Ann Marie Ison of Newberry.

Ison was not wearing a seat belt.

She was taken to Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and died there.

Passengers in the van and the truck were also taken there for treatment of minor injuries.

Snow and bad road conditions were contributing factors in the crash.
