The investigation continues tonight into the death of a Kingsford man in a vehicle fire.
A Michigan State Police fire investigator was flown in from Grand Rapids to look into the incident.
A preliminary investigation indicates the fire was accidental.
It appears to have started either in the engine compartment or the undercarriage area of the vehicle.
According to the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department, the body of the 34-year-old Kingsford man was discovered in the burnt pickup truck early Saturday morning.
The vehicle was located in a field behind a residence on County Road 607 in Breitung Township.
The name of the victim will not be released until the investigation is complete.
