Fatal Accidents Follow-Up
The names of two people killed in different types of accidents in Marquette County on Friday.
15-year-old Jacob Prevost of Marquette died in an ATV accident in Chocolay Township.
He died when his 4-wheeler ran into a tree near Heidtman Road — he was not wearing a helmet.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says the man killed in a chainsaw accident was 44-year-old Neil Krushke, Jr. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Police have said it appears he slipped and fell while trying to cut branches near his camp in Republic Friday morning.
When he fell, the chainsaw landed on him.
