Fatal 3-Wheeled ATV Crash
A Gwinn man is dead after losing control of something you can’t buy in the U.S. anymore…his 3-wheeled all-terrain vehicle.
State Police from the Negaunee Post say it happened Friday night on Sporley Lake Road, about a quarter-mile east of K.I. Sawyer.
31-year-old Kenneth Crum was driving a Honda 3-wheeler on the road.
He apparently lost control while rounding a curve and crashed into some trees.
State Police, Skandia-West Branch Fire & EMS, Marquette General EMS and Forsyth Township Police treated him at the scene.
Crum was taken to Marquette General, where he died.
Police say high speed was a factor in the crash.
