Farmer Q’s Market shutting down for good

Farmer Q’s Market in downtown Marquette is closing its doors for good.

The family-owned grocery store has been a mainstay on the Washington Street strip since 2006, but recent rumblings from some of the vendors at the Marquette Farmers Market have caused some tension in the community.

There’s no word on an exact date for the closure, but a recent post on Farmer Q’s website stated that the company will shut down once all of its inventory has been sold off.
