Extra State Funding for MTU
Michigan Technological University will receive $260,000 from the State of Michigan to fund three initiatives.
The Michigan Strategic Fund and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation are investing more than $6.5 million in several state universities and economic development agencies.
The initiatives include university–industry partnerships, technology commercialization, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
Michigan Tech will receive their money over two years.
