Ewen-Trout Creek School Drug Sweep
Police found illegal drugs during a search at a U.P. school today.
It happened at the Ewen–Trout Creek School.
Michigan State Police k–9 teams from the Calumet Post, a trooper from the Ewen Detachment and the State Police Hometown Security Team searched part of the school and the parking lot.
The sweep turned up illegal drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Administration and staff at the school had asked for the search.
They’d received credible information about students possessing illegal drugs.
The Ewen Detachment also received the same information.
Police conducted interviews and are continuing the investigation.
The Wakefield Post says no further information will be released.
