Ewen-Trout Creek School CSC suspects arrested

The investigation only started on Friday into a sexual assault at the Ewen-Trout Creek Schools – and two arrests have already been made.

School personnel called the Michigan State Police at the Wakefield Post/Ewen Detachment March 15, asking for an investigation of a reported incident of Criminal Sexual Conduct – on school grounds.

The investigation led to the discovery of two separate incidents of Criminal Sexual Conduct.  Police say it involved two suspects, and one victim.  All three are students at Ewen-Trout Creek Schools.

The pair of suspects was arrested Monday.  They are charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct (4th degree,) which carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison.

The names of the suspects will not be released until they have been arraigned.
