Winter OutBack Art Fair provides unique holiday shopping experience

MARQUETTE — The public has enjoyed the OutBack Art Fair every July for the past 24 years, but for the past decade or so, the OutBack has returned every November to offer a unique holiday shopping experience.

Twenty–four vendors can be seen at this year’s Winter OutBack Art Fair, and the majority of them are from the Marquette area.

“We’re all small businesses. You can come in, especially tomorrow, because it’s Small Business Saturday, but you can come in and you can be relaxed shopping. It’s not fighting big lines, it’s not being pushy, it’s calm and relaxing and it’s all beautiful, hand–crafted things,” said Cindy Engle, organizer of the OutBack Art Fair.

Engle said the fair provides an opportunity to put money back into the community. From handmade jewelry to double–sided saw signs, there’s something to catch everyone’s eye.

The fair is at the Masonic Center on Friday, November 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
