On Saturday, October 22nd, 2016, the Forensic Biochemistry Club of Northern Michigan University will be holding a FREE hands hands-on “Spooky Science Night” event at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, in Marquette, from 6- 8pm.
The “Spooky Science Night” will be an exciting night of science experiments that incorporate forensic, biology and chemistry content. It’s all part of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) initiative which is so important in our schools right now. The Museum especially wants to create opportunities for pre-school and early elementary children to learn the concepts of good science to get a kick-start into their science education.
The “Spooky Science Night” is a fundraising event for the Forensic Biochemsitry club to send members to the International Association for Identification 102nd International Forensic Educational Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
