Our troops are coming home from fighting the longest war in U.S. history. When they are home, they may not feel at home. They go to war every day and are losing the battle. Approximately 23 veterans commit suicide every day across the US. That’s 23 too many.
We must remember what veterans are taught: I WILL NEVER LEAVE A FALLEN COMRADE.
On October 25th, 2014 combat veterans and civilian supporters are doing a 23 mile ruck march representing approximately 23 veteran suicides a day in an effort to raise awareness of the severe issue affecting the veteran community.
