Queen City Kid’s Running Club
Our goal is to introduce physical activity into children’s lives by using a fun group atmosphere. We also believe in teaching the importance of supporting and encouraging one another.
Where? We will meet at the Lower Harbor Park by the pavilion
When? The following Wednesdays for an hour
June 15th, June 22nd, June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th, July 27th, August 3rd
$40.00 for eight sessions for one child, 2 or more children $30 a child

At what time? 10:00-11:00
Who is welcome? Children entering kindergarten up to children entering 6th grade.
Tiny Track Stars (K-1st grade)-The children will complete the activities of the day on the grassy field along with playing running games.
Princes and Princesses-(2nd-3rd grade)-Children will run the loop around the park once, twice, or maybe even three times if they have the energy. Children are encouraged to listen to their body to tell them when they need to slow down, speed up, or rest. Lots of games will be played.
Kings and Queens-(4th-entering 6th grade)-This group will learn about the importance of stretching and then head to the bike bath for a one to two mile run.
How do I sign my child/children up? Please stop into Queen City Running Company or call us at (906) 273-1781.
How will I know who the supervisors are? They will be wearing a yellow Queen City shirt.
What if it is raining? Please check the Queen City website or Facebook page if it is raining. This is where we will announce a different day during the week to hold the club.
Final Gathering-Children who participate in six of the scheduled days will be invited to a ceremony where special awards will be handed out. The ceremony will be on the last scheduled meeting date at 7pm. There will be food and drinks provided. It will be a fun event to celebrate your child’s accomplishment.
