These workshops are an opportunity for beginners to try qigong, for those continuing their practice to immerse in a topic, and for all of us to enjoy a complete practice session.
Each workshop will include:
discussion of the foundations of qigong with focus on one of the three tunings at each class: Mind (June 18), Body (August 13) , and Breath (July 23)
and a complete 1 hour practice that includes active practices, cultivation of mind, and breathing practices.
These meditative workshops emphasize:
Muscle and tendon flexibility and strengthening
Joint health and ease
Improved circulation and balance
Healthy breathing and posture
Becoming more grounded and centered
Moderate level of physical activity
All levels of experience
and physical ability welcome.
