Vote in Michigan’s 2016 Presidential Primary. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Michigan’s Presidential Primary is a closed primary. Any Michigan registered voter can participate in the primary and there is no political party registration requirement.
When you arrive at your polling location you will need to select which party you’d like to cast your vote in. You’ll then be provided a ballot with the candidates of that party to make your selection.
Voters also have the option of voting “uncommitted” on either the Republican or Democratic ballot. When a voter selects “uncommitted”, this indicates the voter is exercising a vote for that political party, but is not committed to any of the candidates listed on the ballot.
