The Carnegie Museum of the Keweenaw’s first guided summer tours will be “Hockey Arenas of the Copper Country.” Historian Dr. Bill Sproule will lead the tours, which begin at 5:30 and 7:30 at the Museum. Take a ride past some of the area’s famous hockey arenas, hear some great stories, and rekindle your own hockey memories. This event is sponsored by the Michigan Tech Credit Union.
The cost is $25.00 per ticket ($20.00 for museum members), which includes a wine and cheese social. Space is limited, so reserve your place early. You can mail firstname.lastname@example.org to place your reservation, however your seat is NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. You may purchase your ticket or make payment, at the museum Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 5:00, and Saturday from noon until 4:00. If you are a member, please give your name when making your reservation in order to receive your discount. If you are a member at the Patron ($60.00) level, you are entitled to one free ticket in addition to a 20% discount on all subsequent tickets.
