The Chocolay Bayou Preserve Project is an exciting opportunity for the communities of Marquette and Harvey and beyond to protect a historically important and ecologically fascinating place for the public to enjoy in a natural state – forever.
Help us reach our goal of raising $175,000 in six months by listening to local music, sipping on craft beer, and enjoying some tasty snacks. We are already almost HALFWAY to our goal!
Hike the prospective preserve with us at 6 before the music starts at 7 if you’re interested to see how having this preserve in your neighborhood will benefit the community for years to come. We’ll also have information and board members available to answer questions at the concert, so don’t worry about missing out if you don’t want to hike.
We have some REALLY exciting items added to the silent auction and 50/50 raffle – come bid on donated items such as a handbuilt canoe, holistic health consultations, and so much more!
Join the excitement of the Chocolay Bayou Preservers and join in on the fun at the Chocolay River Brewery! Donations of all sizes are encouraged.
Can’t make it to the concert but want to help save the bayou? Click here for more information and to donate–we’ll send you one of the gorgeous calendars to show our appreciation!
