Amarah’s Princess Parade is the kick-off event for the new Amarah’s Light non-profit.
Amarah’s Light was created after a beautiful little soul was taken from this earth far too soon. We have forever been changed by this tragedy but our hope is that we can make something good come from our terrible loss. The idea behind Amarah’s Light is to provide support while families are learning to navigate their ‘new normal’. Through Amarah’s Light we hope to offer support and encouragement to families with children experiencing profound loss.
REGISTRATION AND DONATIONS CAN BE MADE BY VISITING Amarahslight.org

Registration will begin at 9am. The “mini parade” will begin at 10am and includes all participants, but specifically designed so families with young children can still show off their prince/princess attire. Those not walking can gather along the route path to watch the parade! At the end of the “Mini parade” participants with then continue their walk around Presque Isle or head straight to the “family fun”! Activities and games will open up shortly after the walk/run participants are all well on their way. We want to keep little eyes from getting overly distracted if they are doing the full walk! 😉
