2nd Annual GORUCK Snowdrop Light

For the second year in a row, Good Livin’ is coming to the Fox Valley!

This will be the 2nd Official GORUCK event in Appleton/the Fox Valley! Last year kicked ass, but this year will be epic! Let’s make last years event look like baby games compared to 2016!

We will again be raising money for the Snowdrop Foundation (www.snowdropfoundation.org).

Snowdrop Foundation provides scholarships to college bound pediatric cancer patients and survivors while raising awareness and funds for continued research to cure childhood cancer. 60% of the funds raised go towards clinical trial research at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, while 40% is directed towards Snowdrop’s scholarship fund!

The event will kickoff early morning, 0800, location TBD, and hopefully be wrapped up in time for us to watch the Badgers beat up on Ohio State!

Like last year, there will be a tiered pricing structure, where early registration nets the best pricing.

Pricing is as follows:

First 15 registrants SOLD OUT!!
Next 45 registrants $115
Last 15 registrants $130

In order to keep administrative costs down and maximize the donation to Snowdrop, we will only be accepting payments via PayPal to appletongoruck@gmail.com. It’s 2016, get on the PayPal train people! If you need to pay cash or check, get in touch with Josh, Brian, or Laura, but be prepared to do push-ups.

Like last year, the event will be capped at 70 participants. After that number is reached, a wait list will be formed. The wait list will assist in finding replacements for people that need to withdraw from the event and want to recoup their entry fee. If needed, we can take it to over 70 people, but only if we clear 70 paid.

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS!!! I say again, NO REFUNDS!! . Once you pay, it will be up to you to find someone to take your spot (wait list will be public). If we do not reach the required number of participants, all collected fees will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation.

50% of the total fee is due to GORUCK 60 days prior to the event, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior.

GORUCK will be making a custom patch for the people that complete the event. It would be cool to have it incorporate something specific to the Fox Valley, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. There will also be custom event t-shirts that will be available for purchase as well.
