2016 Iron Range Roll

June 4, 2016 1:00 pm @ 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Iron Ore Heritage Trail

Registration is now open! 40 Below Marquette County Young Professionals is proud to partner with our sponsors, the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, Cities of Ishpeming, Negaunee and Marquette, Townships of Negaunee and Marquette, the MI Big Green Gym Initiative (Michigan Recreation & Parks Association & Michigan DNR), and the YMCA’s Reach and Rise program in the establishment of this annual recreation event that celebrates the connection of our communities along the IOHT.

The Roll is an all-inclusive event that promotes fun recreation, healthy living, community connecting trails, and giving back.

Individual runners, cyclists and four-person relay running teams venture from Ishpeming to Marquette for a truly unique experience unlike anything else in the region. “The Roll” gets its name from the 872 foot elevation descent and total 1,372 foot elevation loss along the approximately 16 mile trail route.

At the conclusion of “The Roll,” an awards ceremony and celebration is held at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

Are you ready to roll? Get ready to dust of that bike, assemble your relay team, and exchange your snow boots for sneakers.

Online registration closes Thursday, June 2. To register, visit www.IronRangeRoll.com.
