Escaped Prisoner in Baraga County
U.P. law enforcement is on the lookout for a walkaway prisoner.
The Baraga County Sheriff’s Department says 28–year–old Brandon Cote escaped from the county jail at about 9:30 last night.
He got away on foot and police don’t know what direction he was heading.
Cote is Native American, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a light gray hoodie.
Cote lives in Baraga County and has relatives in Wisconsin.
