Enbridge Resumes Pumping Oil

Two months after spilling oil into a southern Michigan river, Enbridge Incorporated Pipeline has received the OK from federal regulators to start back up.

The pipeline running from Indiana to Ontario received written permission from federal regulators today to start back up.

Close to a million gallons of oil spilled near Marshall, Michigan in July and polluted the Kalamazoo River.

The pipeline will restart at lower pressure and with increased monitoring. Enbridge also has agreed to make several repairs.
