Eggs Recalled at Marquette Food Co-op

Certified Organic Eggs from Larry Schultz Farm, MN are being recalled due to salmonella contamination. The eggs have been sold recently at the Marquette Food Co-op.

Eggs with the date stamp (286 EXP NOV 12 or 286 NOV 12) are being asked to return them for a full refund. The date stamp information is located on the side of the egg carton. If the carton has “sell by” or a plant number on the label, they are not part of the recall.

October 2, 2011 was the last time the Larry Schultz eggs were sold at the Marquette Food Co-op. The date of the reported contamination and illness is August 12 to September 24. Larry Schultz eggs may or may not be part of the recall.
